Passion Football Club, a 2nd teir team in South Africa have captured the signature of Ghanaian international Afriyie Kweku on a long term contract.

Afriyie joins the Carolina based outfit Ghana lower-tier side New Town Youth FC.

The versatile holding midfielder can also play as a left or right back.

In an interview with Diski Sports, he spoke about his expectations ahead of the new season which begins in a few weeks time.

“My expectation is to achieve a lot with my new club, go far with them and also win more laurels with them. The atmosphere here is very unique as compared to that of Ghana and I must say the reception given to me was wonderful.”

In his final words for the fans he said ” the fans should watch out for something great from me and the team as a whole”

Ariyie Kweku was once a member of the Ghana U-20 team.
