Ghana Premier League AshantiGold have set off their trip to Equatorial Guinea ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup opener.

The 33 man contingent left Obuasi by road this morning.  The Miners are expected to arrive at Aflao in the evening where there will spend the night and head to Lome the following morning.

The team will then enplane from Lome to Equatorial Guinea.

The contingent includes 18 players, 6 members of the technical team and 9 officials.

Ashantigold will face Akonangui FC on Saturday in the first leg of the Preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
