Kumasi Asante Kotoko drew 0-0 with Ivorian league champions Societe Omnisports De L’ Arme in a pre season friendly at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Despite creating a number of chances in the game, the Porcupines couldn’t find the back of net.
Asante Kotoko started the first half in steady pace rotated from the flanks with Kelvin Andoh and Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Societe Omnisports showed their attacking strength in the game with good attacking moves and had the best incursion in the game with Felix Annan preventing the Ivorians from scoring.
Kelvin Andoh gave troubles to Societe Omnisports on the tight flanks with his silky moves which Richard Arthur twice failed to latch onto the final pass inside the box.
Both sides exhibited quality game with perfect moves across the all department of the game but only lacked goals.
The first half ended goalless.
Asante Kotoko made series of changes in the second half bringing in Abege, Okrah, Naby Keita and Didi Alexis.
The Porcupines came all guns ablaze looking to get the neededĀ opener but the visitors remained resolute at the back.
Both sides created a lot of chances but couldn’t get the breakthrough.
Substitute Augustine Okrah had the best chance of the game in the 89th minute, but his free kick missed the post and went forĀ a goalkick.
Kotoko huffed and puffed but couldn’t find the back of the net till the referee blew his whistle for the end of the game
