Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold players could miss Black Stars B upcoming 2020 CHAN qualifiers and WAFU B tournament.
The Premier League duo may be reluctant to release their stars due to their participation in the 2019-20 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup respectively.
Ghana will host Burkina Faso in the first leg of the CHAN qualifiers on September 26 before the WAFU tournament also kicks off later that month.
Ghana won the inaugural 16-team tournament on home soil in 2017 and will be looking to defend the title in Senegal.
But without a strong core to call on, the local Black Stars will not be among the favourites to lift the title once more later this year.
Meanwhile Ghana have missed out in the last two editions of the CHAN and are determined to pick a ticket this time.
The Porcupine Warriors will begin their CAF CL campaign against Nigerian top-flight side Kano Pillars on August 10.
The winner of the two-legged match will progress to the final round to play either Hafia FC of Guinea or Tunisian club, Etoile du Sahel.
The Miners are set to face Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea in the prelims of CAF CC.
