Black Starlets management committee chairman, Kweku Eyiah has revealed that they have submitted budget to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for approval ahead of the World Cup in India.
Eyiah pointed out that if the budget is approved, the team will have a training camp in Europe before they fly to Asia for the tournament.
“We have sent our budget to the Ministry for approval ahead of the world cup. The budget includes money for a mini tournament in Denmark in August as well as a training tour in Spain,” Eyiah told footballmadeinghana.com
“As at now, no money has been released to us for the program so we are still waiting to hear from them if it ha been cancelled or not,”
He added:”Some foreign players are knocking on our door for their children to be called into the team. We cannot afford their plane tickets but if they can buy it themselves, they can come and justify their inclusion,”
Ghana are paired with host India, Columbia and USA for the tournament scheduled for October.
