Black Stars winger Thomas Agyepong has been ruled out of Ghana’s crucial Group F clash against Cameroon.

The 22-year old picked up what seemed to be an hamstring injury during the 2-2 draw with Benin on Tuesday.

He was replaced in the 35th minute by another debutant in the squad Samuel Owusu.

According to a statement by the Ghana FA, “further medical test reveal that Agyepong will not be available for selection for the Cameroon game”.

Ghana will face the Indomitable Lions on Saturday at 5pm at the Ismailia Stadium whilst Benin lock horns with Guinea Bissau later at the same venue.
