Former Black Meteors and Asante Kotoko skipper Yusif Chibsah has donated ten bags of cement towards the Kunka Mosque Project currently ongoing in Obuasi.
The retired footballer who is now a top FIFA Intermediary donated the amount of cash meant for the purchase of the cement to Sheikh Tophic Sienu who has been championing the success of the project from it’s start.
The Kunka Mosque, located at the mouth of Obuasi, at the Dunkwa Junction, is a big mosque that serves several communities and towns around that area especially for Friday congregational prayers.
Chibsah, an ardent Muslim who believes in goodness has pledged to offer more support based non the progress of the project.
Earlier, several people including President of Cheetah FC Abdul Hate Yartey, and President of Accra Young Wise Bismark Baffour have donated towards the project.
Some Black Stars players who don’t want their names to be mentioned, as well as several philanthropists who want their names kept secret have also supported the project.
Chibsah’s action is expected to encourage many others to jump on board to support the Godly act.
