Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu has lauded Senegalese coach Omar Daf for his progress at French Ligue 2 side Sohaux.
Owusu, 21, is on loan from giants Olympique Lyon and has risen to become one of the key players in the Sochaux team following the appointment of Daf as manager.
The French-born Ghanaian enforcer made 32 second-tier Ligue appearances providing one assist and has attributed his fine form to Daf.
“I was lucky to have a super-coach (Omar Daf). With him now I have confidence. I know where I stand and what to do on the field, I especially felt what an honor it was to play for a club like Sochaux . ” Owusu told estrerepublicain.
Owusu will return to Lyon this summer and he is likely to stay if the club sell Tanguy Ndombele to Real Madrid.
