Newly promoted English League 1 side MK Dons have signed English-born Ghanaian enforcer Hiram Boateng.
Boateng’s contract with League Two outfit Exeter City ended this month and he chose not to extend it as he looks forward to a fresh challenge.
The talented midfielder who made 76 appearances scoring thrice and providing 16 assists for Exeter during his two-year stay insists he is ready for the task ahead and hopes to shine in his new team.
“It’s going to be a new challenge, playing in League One, but I feel I have what it takes to step up,” Boateng told the Dons website.
The 23-year-old central midfielder was groomed at Crystal Palace and won the club’s young player of the season thrice in a row before moving out in 2017.
