Birmingham Legion attacker Edward Opoku says he will be back to action soon following an injury against Nashville on Thursday in the American USL league.

Opoku who is on loan from Columbus Crew replaced Hoffman in the 76th minute but finished the game with an injury as his side lost 1-0.

The exciting forward thanked all those who have wished him speedy recovery and pledged to be back soon.

“Thank you to all those that reached out to me. I’m okay and should be back soon.” He tweeted.

He has made nine appearances in the American second-tier this season.
