Ghanaians have expressed mix feelings over the return of Asamoah Gyan to the Black Stars fold ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Kayserispor forward announced his shock retirement on Monday after he was stripped of his captaincy but made a sensational U-turn barely 24 hrs later after he was convinced by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The 33 year old was subsequently named in Kwesi Appiah’s provisional 29-man squad to start preparations for the continental showpiece.
The saga has caused a seemingly never ending debate on social media, while some fans are happy to move on from the brouhaha, others have registered their displeasure at the antics of the former Sunderland hitman.
Nana Addo calling Asamoah Gyan to make himself available for the Black stars is good move. Personally i don't Want him to be in Egypt but looking at it from a different view the president made the right call

I have a problem with players who think are bigger than the team, #AsamoahGyan is taking Ghana for granted. #MSW
