Moments after receiving news of his inclusion into Ghana’s senior national team – Black Stars – Musah Nuhu opened his scoring account with Swiss side St Gallen with a stupendous finish.
The lanky defender out-jumped his marker to head home a thunderous strike to open the scoring for St Gallen as they smashed defending champions Young Boys by 4-1.
The goal becomes the youngsters first for St Gallen since joining the side last year.
Nuhu joined St Gallen from WAFA on an initial loan deal but his stupendous performance earned him a three-year permanent contract which was signed less than a month ago.
Fellow Ghanaian team mate Majeed Ashmeru was also on the scoresheet in the 79 as they teared the defending champions apart.
Nuhu’s strike for St Gallen came on the back of receiving sumptuous news of his inclusion in the Black Stars provisional 29-man squad for a three-week camping in Dubai ahead of the AFCON.
