Cameroonian side Dauphine FC have arrived in Accra ahead of this year’s Best in Ghana Soccer Fiesta.
The team was warmly received at the Kotoka international airport on Friday afternoon by representatives of Proton Sports (organizers of the competition in conjunction with SPOC).
The tournament will also feature Racing Club Abidjan and over twenty Ghanaian clubs, both from the youth divisions and the Premier League.
The annual competition which kick starts on Saturday seek to offer young players a great platform to catch the eyes of foreign agents and scouts.
The week long event will take place at various match venues including Ajax Park at Legon, Presec Park, Tema Sports Stadium and the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu.
The tournament which is a decade old has seen several players rising to the top from the Best in Ghana Soccer Fiesta platform including Baba Rahman, Zuberu Sharani, Leonard Owusu, Dauda Mohammed, Benjamin Tetteh and many more.
