Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei is likely to relieve suspended Dr. Amo Sarpong off his post as Policy Analyst of the club.

According to various media report, the Unity Oil mogul is not happy with the conduct of the Policy Analyst and will sack him in the coming days.

The reports further indicate that the Executive Chairman is overly angry with the Policy Analyst and has not spoken to him since the incident ensued due to his take on the issue.

Dr. Amo Sarpong fired a gun ahead of their game Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in the Normalization Committee Special Competition following a mob attack.

But a ruling on the case by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association saw Dr. Yaw Amo Sarpong, Policy Analyst of Asante Kotoko, suspended from all football related activities for six months after the DC found him guilty of wrongfully wielding a gun at the Golden City Park.

Dr. Amo Sarpong has since decided he will not appeal the ban and will serve it accordingly.
