Ghana midfielder Obeng Regan is likely to return to Deportivo Alaves this summer if the Spanish club sell fellow countryman Mubarak Wakaso.
Regan who is owned by Alaves was given to Croatian outfit NK Istra last summer as they have the same bankroller and he has greatly impressed.
The left-footed central midfielder has netted four goals and provided one assist so far this season and has been Istra’s best player this campaign.
Alaves who are cash-strapped are ready to offload the big earners ahead of next season, an outstanding Obeng Regan could be brought back from loan if they are to sell Wakaso.
Regan, 24, has previously featured Serbian clubs Napredak and FK Cukaricki whom he won the Serbian Cup with in 2015.
