Thomas Partey has expressed his delight after completing a double swoop of awards at the 44th SWAG awards night on Saturday at the International Conference Center.

The Atlético Madrid midfielder emerged the Sports Personality of the Year and also retained his Footballer of the Year award for the second successive year.

Former Ghana defender Joe Addo picked his awards on his behalf.

The 25 year old took to his social media page to thank the organizers and all the fans who voted for the recognition.
