Ghana international Solomon Asante laid his father Christian Asante to rest on Friday May, 10, 2019

Mr. Asante, 80, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the family house in Sefwi Wiawso in the Western north region after a short illness.

Solomon who is the skipper of USL side Phoenix Rising was given some weeks off to come home and bury his late father.

The mercurial winger has been on fire in the American second-tier this season scoring three goals and providing  4 assists  in 8 games.

He has also been named in the USL Team of The Week twice.
