Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to name a 30-man provisional squad on Friday 10 May, to begin preparation for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
FootballMadeInGhana.com checks indicate that the list will include some local based players and a few surprises.
The team will hold a three-week pre-tournament camping in Abu Dhabi
In recent past, the four-time African champions have used the United Arab Emirates (specifically Dubai) twice as a pre-tournament base for some Nations Cup campaigns – first the 2013 Afcon in South Africa and the recent one, Gabon 2017.
The coach will present his final list of 23 players to CAF before June 10, 2019.
Ghana have been drawn in Group F along with defending champions Cameroon and West African rivals Benin and Guinea Bissau.
The Black Stars will be based in Ismailia during the tournament in June.
