Enterprising central defender John Otu was in the thick of affairs on Sunday when Real Zaragoza U19 locked horns with Atletico Madrid Under 19 in the Spanish Youth FA Cup.

A 47th minute strike by Frances was all the Zaragoza youth aide needed to progress to the next phase of the competition.

Otu and his side have qualified for the semifinal of the Youth FA Cup and will face Celta Vigo on Wednesday.

Otu has already won the domestic Juvenil de Honor with Zaragoza and he is looking forward to grab his second trophy this season.

The budding guardsman featured in all Los Manos league games in the U19 league this season scoring one goal and providing two assists whilst he also made two appearances on the bench for the second team.

Otu joined Real Zaragoza in the summer of 2018 from Still Believe FC which is the feeder club of Dreams FC.
