The Minister of Youth and Sports Mr. Isaac Asiamah has set up a committee to be chaired by NSA boss Prof. Twumasi to oversee the organization of May 9 activities this year.

Other members include management member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Edmund Ackah, Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Akambi, Mr Annan, Chairman of Memorial fund, Charles Amofah and Papa Asante.

Their first meeting is on Friday May 3rd at the NSA office in Accra. 10:00am

They will know their mandate during the meeting.

The Accra stadium disaster on May 9, 2001, claimed the lives of 127 Ghanaian football fans at the Accra sports stadium during a football game between rival clubs Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko
