Dan Kwaku Yeboah was, perhaps, the happiest man on earth as he received a $5000 cheque from the Ghana FA to settle his unpaid arrears as the spokesperson of the Ghana FA.
Dan, who doubles as a journalist with Peace FM, has been the spokesperson of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee since their appointment in September last year.
The controversial spokesperson of the NC was reported to have been unpaid since his appointment in September last year.
According to insiders at the FA, the once hard critic of the previous FA is on a $1000 a month allowance and has been paid to cover his arrears since his appointment.
Kwaku Yeboah was initially reported to have said that he is not paid for his role as the spokesperson of the NC.
Checks by footballmadeinghana.com revealed that the Peace FM journalist was paid from the time of his appointment to February this year, hence the $5000 cheque given to him to cover the five months.
Further revelations are that Dan actually received the cheque in March this year with the assurance that he will be paid $1000 from that time onwards.
Dan in a recent interview had a head-on collision with the media describing a section of them as having lost their ‘chop money’ with the previous administration hence consistently criticising the NC.
But the latest revelation of receiving a cheque of $5000 confirms working hard to protect his own ‘chop money’ after months of hard work.
Despite his role as the spokesperson of the Normalization Committee, Dan still hold his role as the head of sports at Peace FM and UTV Ghana.
