Medeama SC came back from a goal down to beat Berekum Chelsea by 2-1 to go top of the Premier A table of the NC Special Competition.
Solomon Oblitey Commey opened the scoring for the home side before Awudu Tahiru and Kalibo Dedy Toussanit came back to win the game for the Mauve and Yellows.
The game was played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium due to the ban on the Golden City Park in Berekum.
Chelsea coach Tony Lokko made some series of changes to the team that drew against Kotoko over the weekend while Samuel Boadu handed Tahiru Awudu a start after returning from suspension.
It was the home side who drew the first blood in the game with Solomon Oblitey Commey pouncing on a lose ball in the penalty box to blast home the opener in the 27th minute.
But the visitors responded eight minutes later through Tahiru Awudu whose powerful strike found the back of the net to level matters at the Len Clay Stadium.
Medeama got the second on the stroke of half time through Ivorian striker Dedy Kalibo.
The home side came back in the second half looking to get a quick equalizer, but the defenders of Medeama were equally up to the task.
Medeama goalkeeper Yaw Ansah denied Jonah Attuquaye a glorious opportunity in the 55th minutes.
Braimah Foster also came close to scoring in the 78th minutes, but Yaw Ansah was up to the task again.
The win means Medeama SC have leapfrogged Asante Kotoko to the top of Zone A.
