The Mauve and Yellows continued their impressive home form in the Normalization Committee Special Competition by beating Aduana Stars by a lone goal.

In a much that was closely contested, each side defended very well in the first half.

The second half was the same story as the first half, Medeama SC kept pushing in search of the opener but their effort was in vain.

Medeama’s effort finally paid off late in the game, as right back Samuel Appiah headed home to give his side the deserved lead.

Aduana Stars fought back late in the game but couldn’t get the equalizer.

The win means Medeama SC maintain their stay in second spot with 13 points behind Asante Kotoko.
