WAFA SC got their revenge on Ebusua Dwarfs with a 2-0 victory in the Special Competition on Sunday.
It was always going to be a daunting task at the Sogakope Park after the Crabs ended WAFA’s unbeaten run with a 1-0 defeat in midweek.
Dwarfs managed to keep the hosts at bay in the first half as it ended 0-0.
But the Academy lads who boast of the most potent attack in the competition couldn’t be contained for much longer as Prosper Ahiabu broke the deadlock in the 51st minute.
Timothée Kofi Kuodo scored on the hour mark to seal the win and ensure all three points.
After Karela’s draw at Liberty, the victory meant that WAFA reclaim top spot in Group B with 15 points.
