Four days after overcoming a stubborn Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium, Asante Kotoko will have to renew their strengths to deal with the Blues at the Golden City Park on Sunday. 

Berekum Chelsea will like to forget about their performance in the first round which saw them win only one game, though they have one match to clear against Medeama SC.

Despite losing against Kotoko during the midweek, head coach Tony Lokko was satisfied with the performance of his boys.

He will be asking for an improved performance from his boys in the presence of their huge fan base in Berekum.

The mood has changed for the Porcupine Warriors since their 1-0 defeat to Medeama SC in the week two encounter.

They are currently in a four game unbeaten run, winning three and drawing one in the process.

This will be the third time the Porcupines will be traveling in to the Brong Ahafo Region in this competition.

They won their first against Eleven Wonders and drew the other one against Bechem United.

Three of Fatawu Abdul Safiu’s six goals came in the region and he is likely to lead the attack on Sunday for the Porcupine Warriors

Tony Lokko is likely to maintain the team that lost to the same side four days ago.

Apart from Yacouba, Senanu and Baakoh who are still nursing injuries C K Akonnor has the rest of his team to select from on Sunday.
