Ghana international Samuel Sarfo has been named in the The Iranian Football Committee Team of the week.

The talented central back put up an impressive performance om match-day 25 despite his club’s 5-2 defeat to Sepahan.

Sarfo was resolute at the back thwarting most of Sepahan’s attack though their lateral defenders were weak and leaked in goals.

The Ghanaian has been a pillar at the back for Saipa who are now 7th on the league table with 31 points.

He is expected to feature again on Thursday April 25 when Saipa face Machine Sazi.
