Berekum Chelsea registered their first win of the NC Special Competition after piping Ashanti Gold by 1-0 to set the Golden City Park ablaze.
A second half strike from Kwame Amoako made the difference for the Blues.

But it was Ashanti Gold that came close to scoring when substitute Sadick Adams unleashed a powerful drive from a long range, but his shot narrowly missed the post for a goal kick.
The home side broke the deadlock in the 70t minute when Kwame Amoako Antwi’s low shot from close range found the back of the net.
Saddick Adams came close to snatching a point for Ashanti Gold but his feeble header was weak to beat the Chelsea goalkeeper.
The win marks a huge moment for the club after taking a massive technical decision, replacing their gaffer with Tony Lokko.
