Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong is hoping to earn a place in Ghana national team for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The 27 year old defender made his Black Stars debut in the friendly against Mauritania last month after he was invited for the AFCON qualifier against Kenya.
Amos believes he has done enough to merit a place in Kwesi Appiah’s team for the continental showpiece in June.
“I hope to be part of the Black Stars team that participate in the AFCON in Egypt. I believe I have done well to merit a place in the team. It is every player’s dream to represent his nation at the highest level and it would be a dream come true for me, if I am given the opportunity,” he stated.
Ghana have been drawn in Group F alongside champions Cameroon, West Africans Guinea Bissau and Benin.
