Ghana defender Kassim Nuhu believes Spain is the ideal starting place for every young Ghanaian talent who is looking to make a career out of football.
The 24 year-old centre back started his European career in Spain with Leganes youth set up and Real Mallorca before making the move to Switzerland in 2016.
He guided Young Boys FC to the Swiss Super League title before crossing carpet to TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga.
During an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com, Kassim stated that the environment in Spain and their way of approaching football is exemplary for growing young footballers.
“The Academies in Spain are perfect for nurturing young talents to becoming professional footballers” he said in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com
“It is a good opportunity to learn before making a move to another country because the Spanish people love to play good football”
“For me a player can only show his talent when he has the ball and the Spanish league and academies are the best when it comes to that.”
