Former President of the Ghana Football Association Lepowura Alhaji MND Jawula has called on football people to stay united.
Lepowura indicated that football has gone down in Ghana due to various impasses among those managing the affairs and it is about time unity is restored.
“As football people, lets stick together, we made a few errors by ourselves by disagreeing. When the next football election is due, we must seek consensus, I want to tell everyone the disagreement has not helped us.” Lepowura stated during the tenth anniversary launch of Dreams FC
“In this auditorium I can see three or four ambitious potential GFA president’s here. Lets stick together in unity so that if one becomes the president, one will become the vice and one will head a high office or else if there is no unity, if one becomes President the rest will be useless.”
Former GFA Vice President George Afriyie who has already made his intentions of contesting for the GA Presidency known was one of the special guest at the flamboyant occasion.
