Former Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed has urged the club to maintain C K Akonnor after their exit in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Dauda Mohammed implores sacking the coach will not be a good idea for the team and insisted maintaining the coach by giving him enough time is the best thing for the club.

“I don’t think sacking him is a good idea because for me the team did well in the competition and they’re also playing really well too.

“He just needs time and they’ll improve.
