Asante Kotoko will be hoping to have a good start on Sunday when they come face to face with Aduana Stars in their first game of the Normalization Committee Special Competition.
The Porcupine Warriors are brimming with confidence after a stellar output in the CAF Confederation Cup which saw them eliminated in the group stage
Their opponents Aduana Stars are coming into the game as an underdogs after some difficult stints during the pre-season.
They have been without a coach since the departure of Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatshuashi and are currently coached by W. A. Tandoh in an acting position.
Despite going through a lot of difficulties, Aduana Stars can boast of a relatively good squad in the competition and can cause a lot of havoc on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Asante Kotoko on the other hand know they have to win the competition if they want to go back in Africa next season, and Sunday will be the start.
