Former Ghana international Augustine Arhinful insists football is full of uncertainties but does not the Gabonese overturning the 4-0 scoreline today in Libreville.
The Black Meteors walloped Gabon by four goals to nothing in an Under 23 AFCON qualifier on Saturday and they are poised to complete a double over the Central African’s this afternoon.
“In football, anything at all can happen, but I don’t see Gabon scoring four past Ghana,” Arhinful told Kumasi-based New Mercury.
“The Ghana and Gabon team I saw paraded on the day, they [Gabon] have a limited time to make changes to their squad. So they have to just maintain, prepare and hold on to their current squad, which gives Ghana some added advantage.”
Ghana will be missing the services of striker Benjamin Tetteh who has been called back by his club Sparta Praque.
