Ashantigold coach, Charles Akonnor has admitted that the game against Accra Hearts of Oak this afternoon will be difficult though he is very hopeful of a win.
Akonnor who has previously handled the Phobians as well as Dreams FC has revived the fortunes of the Miners and has lifted them from the relegation zone since taken over in the second round.
Fresh from a 3-0 drubbing of Inter Allies over the weekend, Akonnor emphasized that there is no turning back as they engage the Rainbow club.
“The game against Hearts will be very difficult and they will come all out but we are also coming into the game for a win,” Akonnor told footballmadeinghana.com
“We cannot afford to lose this all important game, we are psychologically and physically prepared for the game and we will go for a win,”
The Miners are unbeaten in their last three league game so far this season.
