FIFA has extended the mandate of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee and has set up a joint task force to facilitate the process of normalizing Ghana football.
The world football governing body on Friday announced at joint press conference with the Normalization Committee that their mandate has been extended until September 30, 2019.
According FIFA rep Solomon Mudege, the Normalization Committee is not to be replaced but FIFA in collaboration with the Government of Ghana and the committee is announcing a Task Force to facilitate the work of the NC.
The FIFA Task Force to support the Ghana FA Normalization Committee is made of the President of the Normalization Committee Dr. Kofi Amoah,
Peter Limacher from FIFA, Jean Samuel Leuba from FIFA, Godfred Dame a representative of the Government of Ghana and Solomon Mudege also from FIFA.
The task force in collaboration with the NC have up to 30th September to conclude their assignment.
