Ghana duo Jeffrey Schlupp and Jordan Ayew’s Crystal Palace have been eliminated from the suffered English FA Cup after they lost 2-1 to Watford in the quarter-final on Saturday.

The Hornets had earlier led through Etienne Capoue’s instinctive finish before Michy Batshuayi levelled for the Eagles, finishing coolly after dispossessing Adrian Mariappa but soon after replacing Will Hughes, Gray fired past Vincente Guaita to send his club into only their sixth FA Cup semi-final.

Schlupp, who has been handed a national team call up by Kwesi Appiah ahead of Kenya game lasted the entire duration of the match while Jordan Ayew continued to warm the bench at Vicarage Road.

Second-half substitute Andre Gray scored two minutes after coming on to send Watford into the FA Cup semi-finals.

Both players are expected to join their teammates for the final AFCON qualifier next team in Ghana.
