Ghana midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan was on target for Sassuolo in the Italian Serie A on Saturday afternoon as they were battered 5-3 by visiting Sampdoria.
Duncan who operated in his usual central midfield position netted the second goal for his side in the 72nd minute with a fine finish at the Mapei Stadium after Sampdoria had gone 5-1 up.
Despite the heavy defeat, Duncan was lively in the middle of the park with accurate passes, good tackles and ability to serve as the link between the defence and attack.
The goal was the Ghanaian’s fourth this season after 19 games and he has also provided three assists.
Fellow Ghanaian Afriyie Acquah was not in the Sampdoria match-day squad.
