PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo has received his first Dutch national U21 call up.
Gakpo 19 has been in fine form for PSV in the Dutch Eredivise this season playing seven games, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

The Netherlands are set to face the USA and Egypt in their upcoming camp in Spain on March 24 and 26 respectively and Gakpo will use the game as a test case as he eyes a place in the Dutch team for the summer U21 European championship.

Born to a Ghanaian father and a Togolese mother in Eindhoven, the enterprising talent has went through the youth ranks of the PSV before being promoted to the senior team this season.

He has also featured for the Dutch U17 and U19 national teams.
