Kotoko coach Charles Akonnor has revealed that what he will remember most during his time at Dreams FC was when they were demoted after the 2015/2016.
The Dawu-based club were asked to revert back to Division One as a punishment following irregularities in player registration.
Though they had the chance to contest the ruling, they obliged and Akonnor says it is one of his fond memories.
“When we were asked to go down to division one, we all sat down, everyone came with his ideas, some agreed, some disagreed but I stood up and said we should go, I am still going to be here.” Akonnor told footballmadeinghana.com
“Dreams was such of a family, you could get on nerves but it was good, was positive one. We had a target and it was a purposeful and meaningful one, things work out.”
Dreams FC qualified back to the Premiership just one season after going to the second-tier.
