Following their 3-1 defeat to Nkana FC in Zambia, former Asante Kotoko gaffer Karim Zito has identified lack of competition in the Kotoko team.
According to him, the lack of competition in the team is not helping matters.
He also called on the players to focus on correcting their mistakes rather than waiting for the coaches to come to their aid.
“C.K lacks competition in his team, which is not good. He needs competition in the team to help the players to play above themselves,” Zito told Light FM.
The dyed in the wool former Kotoko player and coach also descended on the players, blaming their level of professionalism.
“Our players are not professional enough because as a player you don’t need to wait for your coach to tell you how to play well and I think they are not professional. You should be doing extra training to correct your mistakes,” he added.
