Ghanaian-born Burkinabe attacker Mandela Ocansey has been voted as the best player in Guinea for 2018.
The ambidextrous forward netted nine league goals to help Horoya retain the LIGUE 1 Trophy whilst he also scored four goals on their road to the quarter finals of last year’s Champions League which was the first in their history.
Mandela 29, was groomed at the Feyenoord (WAFA) Academy in Ghana before moving abroad to play for ASFA Yenega, Sewe San Pedro and currently Horoya.
The forward who is the brother of former Accra Great Olympics captain Michael Ocansey as well as Eric Ocansey of Belgian outfit ES Eupen chose to represent Burkina Faso in 2010 and has three caps to his name.
