Following the poor performances of Ghana’s junior national teams, Technical Director for Ghana Football Association Oti Akenteng has called for talent identification programs for the association.
The experienced football coach suggested that, talent identification should be key when developing football in a country.
He insisted that the future of the country’s football rests on the shoulders identifying good talent and nurturing them.
“We must do talents identification in order to improve and develop our football.
“Proper identification and good implementations will bring us good results,” he stated on Happy FM.
“The Normalization Committee is working on getting us technical members to help me work. I will be only supervising when we get these members,”
Oti Akenteng also called on Ghanaians to have patience with the Normalization Committee.
“I plead with Ghanaians to exercise patience with the Normalization committee to reform our football scene for us. They are working. Let give them the opportunity to work.”
