Ashanti Gold captain Tijani Joshua is hoping to catch up with his teammates after returning from injury.
The former Wa All Stars defender sustained an injury in the President Kufour Cup with Asante Kotoko in December and has since been working hard to return to full fitness.
“I was sidelined for a while, with lots of activities going on which I couldn’t take part in. I was a bit troubled but was willing to wait patiently till I gain full fitness,” he told the club’s website.
“I’m already aware of the system we play, so it won’t be a problem catching up with the level the team has reached now,” he added.
He also thanked the supporters of the club for their prayers.
“I will thank all the supporters for their prayers, and for all the love they’ve shown. A lot of them wished me speedy recovery. I will continue doing my best to make the supporters happy”.
