Italian-born Ghanaian youngster Claud Adjapong is set to join Crotone on loan as he seeks to get more playing time.

Adjapong, 19 made just nine appearances for Sassuolo last season in the Serie A and he is set for a move to fellow top flight side Crotone to continue his development.

The talented right back is expected to bring stability at the back of Crone who finished 17th in the Serie A last season and conceded lots of goals through the right rear.

Aside Adjapong, Crotone are also eyeing a move for Daniele Verde from AS roma to help solve their right wing problem.

Adjapong is a member of the Italian national under 19 team but could still represent Ghana in future.
