Moroccan match officials appointed for the CAF Confederation Cup clash between Asante Kotoko and ZESCO United have arrived in Ghana, FootballMadeInGhana.com can confirm.
The four, El Jaafari Noureddine, Mabrouk Youssef, Ait Hisham Abbou and Guezzaz Samir, arrived in Accra last night and were met by Deputy Greater Accra Rep for Kotoko Nana Kwame Dankwah and have been flown to Kumasi.
Noureddine El Jaafari had been appointed to officiate the game and will be ably assisted by compatriots Hicham Ait Abbou and Youssef Mabrouk as first and second assistant referees respectively.
El Jaafari has been in charge of several top flight game on the continent and beyond including the 2018 World Cup qualifier between Zambia and Cameroon.
Samir Guezzaz takes charge as the fourth official for the day while Rwandan official Aaron Rurangirwa has been appointed as the Match Commissioner.
IIboudo Serge Paulin Samuel from Burkina Faso will be the Referee Assessor.
The match officials are expected to touch down in the country on Monday ahead of the game at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors will be looking to record their first win in the competition after suffering a 1-0 defeat in their opening group clash with Al Hilal in Sudan.
