Talented Ghana centre-back Abraham Akwasi Frimpong has started pre-season with his Serbian club Red Star Belgrade ahead of the coming 2017/2018 season.

The Red-whites assembled at the Rajko Mitic Sports Stadium on Friday morning and undertook some fitness work under the watchful eyes of Coach Vladen Milojevic.

The Serbian giants placed second in the domestic league and will be playing in this season’s Europa League Competition.

Frimpong who was signed from Napredak Krusevac in January this year has been the first choice centre back of the Red Star team making 16 appearances and putting up fantastic performances.

The former Napredak deputy skipper is expected to excel again in his first full season with the club.
