Coach of Ghana National Division One Zone One side Emmanuel Ofori Asumadu has indicated that the departing of his experienced players is tough but he has every believe in his new recruits ahead of the new season.
The budding trainer pointed out that there is nothing they can do as the accomplished players have decided to seek avenues elsewhere and they must now work with what they have.
“Obviously a coach would always cherish the privilege of continuation with his experience players. It’s always a difficult situation to lose experience players but there’s little you can do when your mature players show interest somewhere else. Moreover we had an aging squad that would obviously need adjustment now or the near future.”Asumadu told the club’s media team
“I take consolation from the fact the the Management and my technical team did a good job with new players recruitment. I must admit I’m highly impressed with the talent , commitment and the desire to learn spirit of the relatively younger new recruits . Our goalless draw with a solidified Berekum Chelsea is evident to the fact that the new boys have special talents I can surely build on and turn them into great arsenals for the club”
Bofo were one of the exciting clubs in Zone One last year before the league was called off.
