Philadelphia Union forward David Accam says his side have enough talents at the attacking end of the field and they must be able to deliver.
Union finished 6th in the MLS Eastern Conference last season and Accam maintains they should start playing to their strength in the new season.
“I think we have a lot of quality in the team attacking wise and we need to take advantage of it pressing high and staying high and keeping defenders on the back foot,” Accam told prosoccer
“For us, it depends on how the coaches want us to play. They know the qualities we have and I know they will try to utilize our qualities to have the best success this year.”
“I think everyone is hungry because we know the qualities and the talent we have here,”
“Last year, we came up short of the playoffs and I think that’s the motivation for everyone to go further than we did last year. There’s a lot of work to do, but the boys are really hungry.”
Accam’s 2018 MLS season was blighted by injuries as he made 23 appearances scoring once.
