Ashanti Gold full-back Roland Amouzou has fired early warning shots at rival clubs ahead of the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee competition. He says the Miners come second to none in terms of quality and pure talents.
The Ghana FA FIFA normalisation committee led by Kodi Amoah secured a $1.2 million financial support from government for the stop-gap competition set to kick-starts on Saturday February 9 and according to Amouzou no team can stop them from annexing the special tournament.
“AshGold is really on form. Apart from Kotoko who are playing in Africa I don’t think there are any other clubs that come near us in terms of form and quality.” the talented first choice left back said in an interview with FootballmadeinGhana.com.
“We have the best team in the country at the moment and I am not boasting.
“We want to win this competition. We won the Betway Cup recently and we are working hard to add to that.”he added.
The team of Svetislav Tanasijevic hammered Medema for 4-0 to win the Betway Cup in January to udnerline how ruthless they can be when they are in their elements.
