Ivorian giants Asec Mimosas are onthe verge of signing Kareela United right back Isaac Kwain, FootballMadeInGhana.com can exclusively reveal.

The highly-rated Karela United defender Isaac Kwain has spent a week with Ivorian powerhouse ASEC Mimosas as the Champions League campaigners seek to bolster their squad.

Kwain is also wanted by Asante Kotoko.

He is known for his powerful drives and free-kick abilities and was at ASEC’s training center in Sol Beni.

The 1998 Champions League winners have monitored the former Dwarfs right back for sometime now and has offered him a contract but Karela United wants an improved offer from the Ivorians.

If the transfer goes through Kwain will be teammates with former Asante Kotoko and Bechem United striker Amed Toure.
